Eliot Battle, MD Clinical Fellow in Dermatology, Harvard Medical School
Bio
Now a recognized specialist in cosmetic laser surgery, Dr. Battle attended Brown University before
embarking on a distinguished career in industry. He was the recipient of many national awards and
international recognition from IBM and the Unisys Corporation. Despite his significant accomplishments
in business, Dr. Battle had long aspired to be a physician. He returned to university and received a
Bachelor of Science in zoology. He completed his dermatology residency after receiving his medical
degree from Howard University and further developed his clinical expertise during a two-year clinical
and research fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Department of Dermatology. He is currently continuing
his pioneering research with cosmetic and medical lasers at Massachusetts General Hospital's Wellman
Laboratories of Photomedicine with Rox Anderson, MD. He is the recipient of many national academic
honors and awards including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honors Society and
selection as a National Institute of Health (NIH) Training Scholar. Dr. Battle has published and
lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics including laser surgery, laser physics,
laser therapy on ethnic skin, laser resurfacing, laser hair removal.
