Detailed Biography

Dr. Day was born and raised in New York City where she currently practices the specialty of cosmetic dermatology. She is a graduate of Columbia University. She achieved her medical degree at Downstate University, NY, after which she completed a medical internship at New York University medical Center and a residency in dermatology at Cornell University College of Medicine with the title of Chief Resident.
Dr. Day specializes in all aspects of cosmetic dermatology, including chemical peels, collagen injections, botox injections, skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, laser surgery, laser skin resurfacing, and laser tattoo removal.
Dr. Day has received many honors and awards, among them the Greater New York Dermatological Society award for laser research, and the year 2000 New York University Medical Center Award for Dedication and Excellence in the Teaching of Dermatology. She is also included in the 2000 Doctors Who’s Who and is a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the New York University Medical Center.
Active in a variety of professional societies, Dr. Day is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Day's service to the community includes many skin cancer screenings for corporations including Revlon, AMEX, General Motors, Pfizer, Citigroup, and others.
