Bio:
Dr. Pierre Demers completed his medical degree at McGill University and then specialized in Ophthalmology at the University of Montreal. His post-doctoral fellowship training was in Cornea and Laser Refractive Surgery at Tufts University, Boston and at the Hotel-Dieu Hospital in Paris (Université de Paris). Dr Demers is one of North America's preeminent cornea specialists, and was one of the first surgeons in Canada to use a scanning spot excimer laser for therapeutic applications on the cornea. Dr. Demers was named "Professor of the Year" of the Ophthalmology Department of the University of Montreal.
