Bio:
Dr. Niederman graduated with honors from the Harvard School of Dental
Medicine in 1976, where he also completed his periodontology specialty
training in 1984. His specific clinical interest is non-surgical periodontal
care, and in particular, the use of antibiotics to treat periodontal infections.
The focus of Dr. Niederman's research is in two areas: evidence-based dentistry,
and periodontal infection susceptibility. His most recently published work is titled,
"Tradition-based dental care and evidence-based dental care," and appears in the Journal
of Dental Research.
