Bio:
Diana Zuckerman, a psychologist, is the president of the National Center for Policy Research (CPR)
for Women and Families in Washington, DC, a non-profit organization that is one of the most prestigious
policy research "think tanks" for women's issues. Formerly a senior policy advisor in the White House,
Ms. Zuckerman held several leadership policy and research positions at non-profit women's organizations
before heading up the CPR. As a psychologist, she held faculty positions at Vassar College and Yale
University, where she went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in epidemiology at the Yale Medical
School. Following her academic career, Ms. Zuckerman spent several years as a staffer at the House of
Representatives and the Senate. Ms. Zuckerman's policy work has been covered by major TV networks, radio
and the press, including CBS, ABC, NPR, The New York Times and the Washington Post to name but a few. She
is the author of numerous articles featured in medical and academic journals as well as major newspapers
and has published four books.
