Botox Beauty?

Pros:
wrinkles have improved
Cons:
temporary swelling
Cost:
$700

Healing time:
none

Pain-o-meter:  3

I am a 37-year old smoker and admittedly have been in the sun for years, which caused wrinkles around and in between my eyes. I went to see about laser surgery but decided to go with botox instead because it was easier, cheaper and because there was no recovery time.

These are injections given every 3 or 4 months. My forehead is a little swollen, and I think this is temporary, but I am so far very pleased with the results and would not hestitate to recommend it - basically, it saved me having to get a larger procedure done. I just consider it maintenance now.

I think now, although I may be flattering myself, that I look in my early 30's and not my late 30's. It is a superficial improvement, granted, but I feel better.
